Duke Hawkins BAE Systems (& Boeing AV-8B) Harrier II

Whether they are old or new, I love Harriers! So, I’ve built several including, most recently, an RAF GR7 from the Iraq War. I wish my library had included Duke Hawkins Aircraft in Detail 011: BAE Systems (& Boeing AV-8B) Harrier II during that project.

This premium 140-page softcover volume contains hundreds of photos of the British GR7 and GR9 Harrier II, U.S. Marine Corps AV-8B Night Attack, and radar-equipped Harrier II Plus, and the Spanish navy’s Matador II. Some of them are the various versions in service so you get a good look at the weathering and wear these hard-working attackers endure — great for finishing that Harrier. Others are detailed images of cockpit and ejection-seats for the different versions, the wings, fuselage, intakes and engine nozzles, tails, strakes, landing gear, and ordnance. Clear, concise captions make clear what you are looking at in each image.
