Author Bio
Marty McGuirk is a former Associate Editor of Model Railroader and Classic Toy Trains magazines. Marty started in the hobby with Lionel trains and picked up HO modeling in his teens. He has built several N scale layouts over the years and has written many articles about his N Scale projects for Model Railroader. In addition, he is the author of Baltimore & Ohio Railroad in the Potomac Valley and The New Haven Railroad Along the Shore Line, titles in the Kalmbach Books Golden Years of Railroading Series. Marty lives in Manassas, Va., where he also enjoys golf and fly-fishing with his three sons.
