Milwaukee Racine & Troy HO Scale Pullman-Standard 40' Mini Hy-Cube Boxcar - Road Number 49023

The Kalmbach Hobby Store is excited to announce that it has partnered with Tangent Scale Models for its latest Milwaukee, Racine & Troy release: Pullman-Standard 40-foot Mini Hy-Cube boxcars. The models, based on prototypes built at the PS plant in Bessemer, Ala., were primarily used to transport appliances and could be found throughout North America. 

Our ready-to-run MR&T cars (era: August 1974+) are painted Santa Fe Red with a black underframe. The injection-molded plastic boxcars feature separate, factory-applied ladders and stirrup steps; see-through crossover platforms; wire grab irons; and etched-metal uncoupling levers. The models have “near-scale” draft-gear boxes with side “key” detail, factory-applied air hoses, and Kadee scale couplers. The boxcars are equipped with Tangent Scale Models 70-ton Barber S-2-A roller-bearing trucks with 33” CNC-machined metal wheelsets, rotating bearing caps, and brake hanger parts. Spare bearing caps are included.
